Analogy meets digital elements. Poetry meets technology. MOODMOON is a decorative wall lamp that combines innovation and tradition in the interplay of LED technology and Japanese paper. Via an app, users can choose from 14 different lighting moods and colour gradients and change the atmosphere of a room according to their own sensibilities. In this way, the MOODMOON moods, which are partly static and partly moving, can be adapted to personal needs. The designer Sebastian Hepting, who has been part of the Ingo Maurer team for 17 years, developed the idea for the MOODMOON luminaire in times of the Lockdown 2020, in which the home is used for different purposes – from work to homeschooling and place of relaxation – and the demands on light are very versatile. MOODMOON focuses on the individual well-being of people and thus reflects the concept of Human Centric Lighting.

Bulb Brass

Brass base, mouth blown Murano crystal glass. Bulb Brass is the new member of the Ingo Maurer Bulb family. Based on the world-famous 1966 design, the Ingo Maurer team developed a brass version. The handcrafted lamp base is made of high quality brass. The untreated brass surface tends to change over time, giving it a special character. A patina is created, a surface created by natural aging. Patina is the result of daily use and is perceived as an aesthetic gain, as it stands for a characteristic material property that can ultimately be understood as the individual signature of the user.

24 Karat Blau Flat

4 Karat Blau Flat is the new member of the Karat Blau family at Ingo Maurer: a wall lamp made of wafer-thin Japanese gold. The principle of the 24 Karat Blau Flat is based on an acrylic glass panel that encloses wafer-thin beaten gold leaf and is mounted flat on the wall in front of the light source. One luminaire – many possibilities: Thanks to individual panels that can be combined as desired and aligned in different ways, the end customer creates his or her own individual work of art with the 24 Karat Blue Flat. Beaten extremely thin, the pure gold only allows short-wave blue light to pass through, which is why the light source appears bluish. Golden yellow light is reflected by the 24 Karat Blau Flat and creates a warm atmosphere in the room. The lamp was designed by Axel Schmid, who has been part of the Ingo Maurer creative team for 23 years and who already developed the earlier models of the series.

Yoruba Rose Floor

Paper, metal, stainless steel, silicone. Yoruba Rose Floor is a new version of the floor lamp Yoruba Rose. Just as in all other MaMo Nouchies, the lampshade consists of Japanese paper, which has to undergo a special manufacturing process in Dagmar Mombachs studio, until the desired shape is achieved. The light source is an LED module, provided with a cooling element, developed by Ingo Maurer especially for the MaMa Nouchies. Its light is so warm and soft, that any difference can hardly be noticed when compared to conventional halogen light sources.

Tubular

Oskar on the Shelf

Oskar on the Shelf is a new version of the illuminating bookend Oskar. The shelf floats lightly and freely on the wall, providing support for books, mobile phones, glasses and keys. The gooseneck allows flexible adjustment of the light module. Powder-coated metal, laquered aluminium.

With the small wall lamp OOP’S 2, paper sets the tone again, naturally, sustainably and elegantly. The 300g/sqm of paper that unfolds on the wall comes from the Büttenpapierfabrik Gmund. The filigree paper lamp is attached to the wall in a few simple steps. The concealed light source can be replaced by the user himself. Thanks to its versatility, it can be used not only in private environments, but also in all other homely areas.
