What sets Tairu apart is the top, made from 400-year-old glazed lava stone from the Vesuvius. The coloured glazing is added by hand. Baking at a high temperature creates a subtle craquelure finish, giving each top a unique look and making the stone heat, water, UV and stain-resistant, not to mention easy to maintain.
