Norma 002 Sink Module

The freestanding island, in the distinctive RODA Smoke tone with doors available also in Rust or Milk colours, has an AISI 304 stainless steel sink unit that fits into the durable Lapitec® top. The space below can, on request, include a fridge.
It is also possible to attach the 003 extension module which offers an additional preparation space that can be extended to become a suspended counter for dining with the simple addition of a bar stool.
In the lower part there are three spacious compartments, one of which can contain, on request, a fridge.
The optionals include larch-wood cutting boards that fit perfectly on the worktop.

Norma 001 Cooking Module

The gas cooker unit has triple crown and five gas burners, it is independent of the other kitchen components, with the option of fixed feet or wheels so it can be moved as desired and returned, if needed, to below the peninsula countertop. The space under the gas burner, with larch-wood shelves and a practical utensil rack, means everything you need is to hand. The optionals include stainless steel fry-top plates and larch-wood cutting boards that fit perfectly on the worktop.

Anima

The modular kitchen units. For Minotti cucine the connection of the countertop is an obstacle to the visual continuity, the innate detail and indispensable to all large surfaces made with natural materials such as stone. To take the eyes away from this divide, the anima model was created in detached units. Every single cubic element has a separate function: cooking, countertop, sink. And it is a modular solution also designed for furnishing bathrooms. The most significant technical introduction of the anima model is represented by the retracted and hidden platform that connects the blocks. A structure created to raise and aesthetically lighten the whole thing, at the same time it is highly functional as it encloses all the fittings and the ergonomics of a kitchen base. As with every Minotti cucine project, anima is entirely customisable depending on the tastes and needs of the customer: this model is therefore potentially available in any variant.

The doors, polished to seem almost incorporeal, are created by the aggregation of glass, silk and metal, forming a luxurious, refined linear and yet minimal result. The technology used to make this kitchen is very high and manages to combine the power and timelessness of the materials with the ingenuity of man, his creativity and the most innovative techniques. Characteristic of Minotti’s design, the stone is presented differently. The work top is divided in the same way as the bases and each piece follow one another at ninety degrees from the previous one. This system emphasizes the joints of the worktop to the advantage of an aesthetic game of intertwining with the goal of lengthening and replicating them infinitely, thus deceiving the dimensional constraint of the stone. The exchange of lines also creates a design parallelism with the weaving of the fabric. And again, the breaks in the worktop make the columns disappear aesthetically with appliances that emerge automatically from the work surface when needed, but hide again after use.

Gandhara

Gandhara has horizontal profiles that appear to stretch the length of the kitchen. The worktop is 45 degrees edge so that the union with doors, also 45 degrees edge, is linear and continuous. Gandhara has been the first kitchen where the union between worktop and basket fronts creates a 45 edge. Tall units instead have vertical profiles. The available materials, wood, high gloss or matt lacquer and stone, can be matched in manifold ways.

Terra

The kitchen project terra. The earth, its waters, its forests and its mountains is extraordinarily beautiful in itself, in its simple and bare presence. Differently from everyday artefacts, in which their use and function are predominant, earth is what it is, independently from what we are, what we do and what use we give to it. Conceiving the terra kitchen i imagined an object, which, useful and functional, presents itself with the same strength as nature: solid, timeless and abstract. I expressed the immense value of the earth with a rigorous geometrical shape and natural materials – porphiry and cedar. Cooking on a porphiry worktop, which is twenty-eight million years old, makes me feel reverent and fortunate at the same time.
